Server Listing - Minecraft Wiki

The multiplayer server listing in Minecraft: Java Edition.

The featured servers listing in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

Minecraft contains an in-sport server record for multiplayer in which customers can save the servers they go to.

In Java Version, there isn't a pre-populated server record instantly accessible from in-game itself or on the official Minecraft website, but the stand-alone Java Edition launcher does help including servers in the Multiplayer part. It allows gamers to see if a server is online, how many slots it has, and how good the player's connection (ping time) to the server is. Hovering over the connection status icon in Minecraft's server listing tells the player the connection pace to the server.

When first loading up the multiplayer listing, the player receives a warning regarding online play not being rated. If the participant wishes to not see this once more, there's a 'Do not show this display screen again' checkbox.

In Bedrock Edition, the server listing has a piece for featured servers which have partnered with Mojang Studios. Within  Minecraft-servers.Website , these are the only servers available, as there is no such thing as a possibility to add unofficial servers.

Discovering unofficial servers[]

Several web sites present a spot for server owners to publicly promote their servers, itemizing IP addresses and different information about these servers. There were two sites of note (each defunct): the official Classic server listing maintained by Mojang Studios and the public server checklist on the Minecraft Forums. Since Minecraft Forums has shut down their public server list as of June 27th 2018 the one different to find Minecraft Servers to play on Java edition is thru a public server record discovered on-line. There are many in style server lists that mirror how Minecraft Boards system labored when it was reside.

Organizing servers[]

In Java Version, the servers seem on the checklist in a set order, which can be changed. To alter the order the servers appear on the record, the player can hover over the server they like to maneuver and use the arrows to maneuver the server up or down on the listing. Alternatively, the player can hold ⇧ Shift and use the arrow keys.
